Lluria participates in Light Middle East 2023

From 17 to 19 January, Lluria took part in Light Middle East, the biggest lighting fair in the Middle East and North Africa held at the World Trade Centre in Dubai.

This was Lluria’s second run at the major lighting event. The first was in 2018, which was met with excellent results, although due to the uncertainties of the pandemic we were unable to go back until this year.

This was, moreover, Lluria’s first attendance with its own stand. This time we had the opportunity to present our new MAIA modular luminaire, which caused a sensation among visitors, especially among lighting designers. There was no attendee who didn’t stop for a moment to admire and photograph our new modular luminaire. Indeed, we received a large number of requests for information about MAIA.

In addition to MAIA, we also presented our range of digital lighting fittings, which was also very well received. Visitors were impressed that Lluria is a family business with a factory in Barcelona, with more than 37 years’ experience in the integral management of bespoke LED linear lighting projects. From the creation of specific products for projects to the design of lighting solutions, to on-site support and our products of the highest quality.

We received visits from companies from all countries in the region with multiple projects to develop, from hotels to hospitals to shopping centres and private homes. These projects came from architecture studios, lighting designers, engineering firms and interior decorators. Our hope is that through these contacts we can expand our presence in the Middle East.

In addition to the exhibition area, the 2023 edition of Light Middle East included several new features. One such feature was a practical lighting design workshop, Meraki. Through a series of practical sessions, participants were guided through the process of a lighting project, from the development of the concept to the execution of the project.

Another new event was ‘InSpotLight’, a talk platform that unveils the latest developments in the industry connecting lighting, technology and the built environment.

The lighting industry also came together to celebrate the Light Middle East Awards. From lighting design and innovative products to hotel and hospitality projects, a panel of industry experts recognised 18 winners for their exciting achievements.

Light Middle East / Intelligent Building Middle East will be back from 16 to 18 January 2024 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, and we look forward to our next appearance.
