Benefits of indirect lighting with Lluria’s new profiles

In recent years, indirect lighting has gained prominence, especially in projects striving to achieve the ideal balance between aesthetics and visual comfort. Beyond enhancing architectural spaces, indirect light directly impacts people’s health and well-being, creating more comfortable and welcoming environments. Aware of this positive trend, LLuria has developed three new indirect lighting profiles—STAR 37, STAR 38 and STAR 70—designed to enhance both the visual experience and spatial design.

Visual comfort without glare

One of the primary benefits of Lluria’s indirect lighting profiles is their ability to enhance visual comfort. Unlike direct lighting, which can cause glare and harsh shadows, indirect light is distributed evenly, creating a smooth transition that reduces contrast. This allows the eye to adapt easily to the architectural setting, minimising eye strain.

Reducing stress and promoting well-being

A lesser-known benefit of indirect lighting systems is their ability to replicate natural light, distributing it evenly without creating intense focal points. This effect of mimicking daylight through architectural openings generates an atmosphere that reduces stress and fosters a sense of calm and well-being.

STAR 37: Up & Down profile

Available in November, STAR 37 stands out for its ability to dissipate high power, making it ideal for projects requiring high levels of illuminance. Its design accommodates a FAF (Slim) power supply, optimising space. Additionally, it can be water-painted on-site upon request, ensuring perfect integration with existing décor or interiors. The separation between the surface and the beam of light creates a longer and softer lighting effect. The STAR 37 profile is designed to be used as a horizontal wall fixture, providing exceptionally comfortable lighting.

STAR 37: Up & Down profile

Available in December, STAR 38 offers double-emission grazing light, achieving a uniform and immersive lighting effect. Like the STAR 37 profile, it can house a FAF (Slim) power supply and be water-painted on-site upon request. Its flexibility in both vertical and horizontal installation makes it a highly versatile option for perimeter lighting and corners, ideal for creating cosy atmospheres with continuous light.

STAR 37: Up & Down profile

Launching in October, this profile is specifically designed for plasterboard panels of 12.5 mm, 13 mm and 15 mm, ensuring precise and adaptable installation. The separation between the surface and the light beam allows for greater diffusion, creating a slimmer, softer light effect—perfect for highlighting architectural details. Its recessed-effect design is an excellent choice for bathing any surface in light, providing a balanced and even ambiance.
