Located in Barcelona, Nomo Restaurant radiates calm and serenity, achieved through the flawless blend of materials and meticulously planned lighting design. Vertical stucco surfaces, wooden furniture and vitrified tiles are enriched by Lluria’s linear and indirect lighting, bringing unity and aesthetic harmony to each space.
Direction and depth
At the entrance, linear lighting guides visitors towards the heart of the restaurant, creating a striking sense of depth. The stainless-steel wine rack transforms into a glass sculpture that refracts light, offering both functional and ambient illumination. Opposite the bar, backlit wooden panelling at varying heights allows light beams to softly flow between the slats.
Subtle elegance
The cocktail area exudes an atmosphere of subtle elegance. Lluria’s linear lighting systems stretch across the seating areas and bar, casting a gentle glow that highlights the seating area without being intrusive. Behind the bar, the play of light and shadow adds dynamism to the space. Meanwhile, a diffuse, even light draws attention to the room’s main decorative feature, capturing the diner’s gaze.
An eternal sunset
In the dining rooms, Lluria’s profiles and LED strips illuminate and highlight the rough textures of the stucco walls. This purposeful horizontal lighting evokes the feeling of an eternal sunset, striking the perfect balance for an unforgettable evening. It also softens any harsh shadows that could be cast by spotlights.
Functionality with aesthetic harmony
In the bathrooms, indirect lighting takes centre stage through Lluria’s flexible LED strips. Placed behind circular mirrors and along the room’s upper front, the lights gently reflect off the glazed tiles, creating a warm ambiance that preserves the venue’s cohesive aesthetic.
