In this private home in the Balearic Islands, Aixut Interiorisme has transformed the terrace into a natural extension of the house. It is a space designed for socialising, relaxing and enjoying oneself at any time of day. Linear lighting is integrated into the architecture to add warmth, mark out pathways and create a tranquil atmosphere at dusk. The illuminated swimming pool becomes the focal point of the whole space. This reinforces the relationship between light, water and the outdoor space.
An outdoor space designed as a refuge
The terrace combines wood, neutral colours and plants to create an intimate and warm atmosphere. Indirect lighting runs along the walls, the floor and the covered area. It complements the architecture without overshadowing it. The LX9.6-30 + ST35-B solution allows for the creation of continuous, discreet lines of light. This visually connects the different areas.
The swimming pool as the heart of the space
The lighting surrounding the swimming pool highlights its shape and changes its appearance as night falls. The reflections on the water lend it depth and movement. As a result, the swimming pool becomes the focal point of the entire terrace. The WL12-30S is used in this area, integrated to create a warm, enveloping light.
Light that connects the indoors and outdoors
The project aims to blur the line between the living space and the terrace. Light blends with the materials and pathways to create a seamless view that encourages people to spend more time outdoors. In this project, the lighting is not intended to stand out. Its aim is to create a calm and comfortable atmosphere, and to help people connect with the space.
