The lighting project for Mussol offers a sensitive interpretation of the spaces and materials that shape the restaurant. Light interacts with wood, ceramics, glass, and steel to create a warm atmosphere aligned with the design concept. This harmony between lighting and interior design has contributed to Mussol Casp being recognized as the best Steak House by Food in Space magazine, an award that highlights the overall quality of the project.
Organic Rhythm
The bar, conceived with an organic geometry, is supported by a concealed line of light running along its upper perimeter. The output and colour temperature of Lluria’s linear system produce a soft glow that accentuates the verticality of the wooden slats. This lighting gesture breathes with the material, transforming the bar into a warm and inviting path that guides guests.
Contained Dynamism
The glass shelves incorporate linear profiles integrated into the metal structure. This layer illuminates decorative elements and creates subtle reflections on the glazed ceramic cladding of the rear wall, producing shimmering effects that enrich the restaurant’s visual depth. The interplay between light, shine, and transparency introduces a gentle vibration, a contained dynamism that completes the scene.
Grazing and Ambient Light
General lighting is articulated through lines of light that wash the exposed brick and traverse the translucent materials at two heights: one close to the diners and another aimed at the overall reading of the space. The grazing light on the brick reveals its textures and structures perception, creating continuity between rooms. Its warmth envelops visitors and reinforces the sense of comfort that defines the restaurant’s character.
Function and Emotion
The display cabinets and shelving integrate Lluria’s profiles and LED strips, illuminating from within to create soft, warm backgrounds that balance function and emotion. These embedded solutions add depth, highlight the product, and complete the lighting narrative with a discreet yet essential layer.
