Enhancing monumental architecture: Legazpi town hall’s new lighting

Fortunately, in recent years heritage buildings have been committing to updating their lighting systems. For this occasion, Alevasa Group chose Lluria’s experience and professionalism to provide new lighting to the historic Legazpi town hall, located in the province of Guipúzcoa.

Beautifying the architecture

At nightfall, this fantastic representative building reveals each of the carvings and details that make up its facade. The light lines enhance the textures of the poster stone, outline lintels and hollows, redraw the entrance arches and unveil the beauty of the coffered ceiling.

Light quality

But carefully considered and accurate light distribution is not enough if it is not accompanied by high quality lighting. In this sense, the Lluria linear systems are able to showcase the constructive sincerity and warmth of each and every one of the materials that make up the building’s architecture.

Adaptability and durability

Our continuous commitment to research and development allows us to offer customers all kinds of lighting solutions regardless of the shape, size and geometry of the space being lit. For this stunning building, ST35 profiles with a Luxel 9.6-27 LED strip were used for the single-colour part and a Luxel 19.2 RGBW strip with 30° lens and resin treatments to prolong the luminaires’ life span.

Custom lighting

The BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) wireless system allows you to programme custom lighting for all types of events and calendar highlights. In addition to being able to interact remotely, this light management system avoids having to install gutters and wiring on the facade, offering significant aesthetic and visual improvements from the outside.
